SEMCO Productions is pleased to announce the addition
of the
Georgia Home & Garden Show to their portfolio.
In 2009, SEMCO Productions, producers of the Atlanta Home Shows at
the Cobb Galleria Centre added an additional home improvement event to its
lineup of quality produced consumer home shows; The Georgia Home & Garden
Show, created by Brendan Brogan.
A long-term and friendly relationship between SEMCO and
Brogan has led up to this sale. “I have
known for some time now that when I was ready to get out of ‘show business’ and
focus on my writing that I would like to see SEMCO take over the show”, Brogan
said, adding, “SEMCO is a quality organization with a great reputation and I
feel that I have left the Georgia Home & Garden Show in good hands”. The Gwinnett Center is equally enthusiastic
about this event, “We’ve enjoyed watching the growth and success of the Georgia
Home & Garden Show for12 years and look forward to its continued
success under the leadership of its new owners, SEMCO Productions”, says Cheryl
Ann Gee, Director of Sales & Marketing of the Gwinnett Center.
Michael Schoppenhorst, Show Director for SEMCO Productions,
says, “We are thrilled to add this event to our line-up of home shows. Our current exhibitors have been talking
about a need for a strong home show at the beginning of the year. Rather than starting from scratch we will
have the foundation of a successful event and be able to build from there. Brendan has done a wonderful job for the last
12 years and we simply intend to employ some of our expertise in show production
to add to the success of the event”.
