John P.S. Salmen, AIAis a licensed architect who has specialized in barrier free and universal design for over 25 years. He has presented hundreds of Universal Design and accessibility seminars and key-note addresses throughout North America and the Pacific Rim.
Eleanor Smith,Founder and Director of Concrete Change has developed extensive teaching materials on designing for Visitability; and co-authored the 2008 Visitability paper commissioned by AARP’s Public Policy Institute.
